Original Title: A Friendly Game Of Poker

This is my entry for :iconlightskin:'s contest.

As you can see, or read, it's a game of poker. And Toph always wins.

Since I clearly don't have time to put this in digital art (and plus, I'm testing my painting skills and it would take me a month to do this on photoshop by mouse) I've done it by hands. I've done it with watercolor, then outlined it with a sign pen then shaded it with markers.

My Suki doesn't look like Suki in the show. My Zuko looks like Jet with black hair. My big sister mistook Zuko as Jet in my piece... dang... I like what I've done with Katara... hehehe ^^; Sokka's crying because he didn't win... :giggle: and Aang is in his Aangst mode... :laughing:

This is set in Modern AU so Zuko doesn't have a scar in this picture. Last minute touch ups and shading of Katara are courtesy of my older sister. The couch at the back was done at the last minute and I had nothing to do and the picture looks dull without the couch so I put it there... ^^;

If you can't understand my handwriting, here is the conversation starting from Toph:
Toph: I won?...I mean... I WON!!... AGAIN!!
Zuko: (in thoughts) Azula is so going to kill me after she finds out that I lost her ten credit cards in a bet....
Aang: But I wanted those Tootsie pops...
Sokka: NOOO!!! I bet ten of my chocolate baaaaars!!!
Suki: I don't get it!! She can't even see the cards!!!
Katara: Actually Sokka, you bet TWENTY chocolate bars.

I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender and its characters. Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko do.

This is soooo cool! You did a brilliant job with the colors. :clap:
I do like how Suki looks, I think she looks prettier than in the show. :D

^^; Wow... thanks a lot!! I also like how Zuko's expression came out... he was all... twitching and stuff. He's afraid how Azula will react... hehe...

Thanks for the compliment on Suko... my older sister liked it too. :D
